Tottenham explained,"If any objects, including yourself Amy, hit the ground then they would simply just disappear and turn up at the start of a tunnel over there." Tottenham pointed in the general direction of the tunnel. "From there your adventure would carry on as follows.
“You have lost another life," said a loud voice from up high.
“You have lost another life," said a loud voice from up high.
Amy jumped up from her lying position.
"Have you lost five lives yet?” this voice continued.
Amy was totally bewildered at this stage but answered Yes or No. Follow the pathway you are on with Amy's adventures.
1. “Yes, I think I have,” replied Amy.
At that point Amy fell to the ground and lost
consciousness.

2. “No, not yet,” Amy replied, looking all
around.
All
she could see was a boring, roundish tunnel around two metres in diameter
lightly illuminated by small yellow lights set in the sides of the tunnel and a
sandy coloured brick path.
Amy only
had one choice and that was to move forward along the path. So she took off not
knowing how long it was and what was at the other end. Then it happened.
Thousands of mini jellybean people appeared from nowhere chattering in birdlike
language. There were red ones, yellow ones, green ones, brown ones, scarlet
ones, black ones, ochre ones, peach ones, ruby ones, olive ones, violet ones,
fawn ones, lilac ones, gold ones, chocolate ones, mauve ones, cream ones,
crimson ones, silver ones, rose ones, azure ones, lemon ones, russet ones, grey
ones, purple ones, white ones, pink ones, orange ones and blue ones.
This
reminded Amy of a song
What Does A
Jelly Say?
A- blub-blub-blub-a-blub!
A- blub-blub-blub-a-blub!
A- blub-blub-blub-a-blub!
What Does A
Jelly Say?
Jingle-jingle-jinga-gee!
Jingle-jingle-jinga-gee!
Jingle-jingle-jinga-gee!
What Does A
Jelly Say?
Biz-a-biz-abiz-abiz-abiz-abiz!
Biz-a-biz-abiz-abiz-abiz-abiz!
Biz-a-biz-abiz-abiz-abiz-abiz!
What Does A
Jelly Say?
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Suddenly
she got attacked by tons of coloured jellybean people from all angles. She
focussed and saw that these mini jellybean people had mini jelly guns and they
were spitting out jellybeans.
Amy
had to cover her eyes up to stop the jellybeans flying into them.
“Ouch.
Ouch. OUCH STOP IT, ” she yelled. ”What is this?”
She
felt a burning sensation with every jellybean that touched her, even through
her clothing.
The whole tunnel went silent and the jellybeans stopped flying out. Then
out came a little sound “Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!”
“What,” replied Amy confused with the complete change of atmosphere.
“Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!” came a voice from another direction.
All of the mini jellybean people of many colours just starred at Amy.
And she starred back. Then three minutes later the sound all started again,
from all directions.
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!
The sound was very high pitched and piercing. The faces from these mini
jellybean people looked serious and evil. Coloured jellybeans then started
flying at her again. Amy sure as didn’t want to burn to death from these flying
fiery objects!!
She was thinking how on earth could she get further through the tunnel
if she is being attacked. Should she make a run for it???
By this stage she was getting burns everywhere on her body so she knew
what she had to do; RUN FOR IT. She kept running and running and running. However the mini jellybean people of many
colours kept running after her. She was still continuously being attacked by
jellybeans in all directions, with burning consequences…until she tripped and
fell to the ground. On the way down something weird happened; a red jellybean
flew into her mouth but it didn’t burn her. Actually it had a yummy taste like a
strawberry raspberry combination.
Then
the tunnel went silent. Amy looked round and the coloured mini jellybean people
of many colours were all starring and laughing at her.
Amy
had no idea what was happening. Had she done something wrong?
Then
she knew what was happening. About three minutes after she swallowed the red jellybean
Amy started shrinking and shrinking and shrinking...until she was the same size
as the mini jellybean people of many colours.
“Oh
no wha… wha… what is this?”
“Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!” answered one purple jellybean
person.
“Rob-wob-wobble-wob-wobblywob-wob!” answered one ruby jellybean person.
All Amy could hear was Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha from all these mini jellybean people.
Amy then
slipped in the tunnel and fell on the body of a dead mini jellybean person. Yes,
some of them ‘die’ during attacks of flying jellybeans. This came as a shock to
both her and the mini jellybean people. Within an instant, the jelly of the dead
body had come up and covered all of Amy’s body, providing ‘an armour’ of sorts.
Amy
felt different with the armour surrounding her natural body. The mini jellybean
people weren’t laughing any more. They looked as if they wanted to study her,
mutilate her body in order to find out what had caused such an unheard of
reaction by one of the dead.
Suddenly
she felt her body begin to move, but not of her accord, no, it was as if
someone else was controlling her. The dead jellybean person may not have been
as dead as she thought. Perhaps it had some semblance of life left in it. She
shot off down the tunnel, the previously laughing jellybean people sitting in
silence as they watched her speed off in to the distance.
Blobs
of the armour started to melt off her body due to the speed of the wind. The
air was pushing her helpful armour off of her. It was happening so quickly that
she was worried she wouldn’t be able to stop without harming herself!
BANG WALLOP
SNAP
The
wall in front of her had come up so quickly that Amy hadn’t had a chance to
stop herself from flinging in to it. Luckily it was made of some sort of sticky
soft substance so she managed not to hurt herself.
The
armour slithered off her, recombining itself at her feet. It seemed to wink at
her, before it sank in to the floor. A purple jellybean lay in its wake.
Purple. That might be the one she needs to get to right size again! So she
popped it in her mouth. There was no burning sensation and the taste was just
as delicious as the red one, a yummy grape flavour. Nothing happened. But then…after
about three minutes she started growing and growing and growing until she
reached her normal size.
“Phew,”
thought Amy, “ what a relief.”
She
now noticed a door in the wall that she flung into earlier and opened it. She
went through it quickly shutting the door behind her before getting attacked by
more of these mini jellybean people of many colours.
Amy
was now in a smallish room with cornflower blue walls, and a dark blue ceiling. She looked at the floor. It was charcoal with a grid of
colourful shapes and something out to one side. She walked over to this grid to
look at it more closely. It contained candy shapes in purple, red, green,
orange and blue and it looked like a giant computer screen. The something out to
the side looked like a giant keyboard. Attached to the keyboard was a note. It
said:
You have a game to play.
Use the keyboard.
Move the candy around to get groups of
three, four or five.
You can only move candy next door to each
other.
You will see two apples and two cherries
appear
Bring these to the bottom and off the board
You have fifty moves to do this
If you are unsuccessful you lose a life.
Amy started
the game immediately but was a little nervous about losing another life. She
thought it was a fun thing to do until she felt some burning things hit her
from all angles.
“Ouch
Ouch OUCH,” she yelled out again. She looked around.
“Oh
no. More jellybeans. This can’t be real.”
She
noticed them coming out of little holes in each of the walls, which seemed
weird because she hadn’t noticed them before. Anyway she was steering clear of
the red ones!!
After
Amy’s twentieth move a red cherry arrived at the top of the third row from the
left. She knew that if she found groups of three, four or five in vertical rows
then the cherries and apples would come down to the bottom quicker.
Jellybeans
were continuously bombarding Amy; which was somewhat off-putting to her
concentration, in fact a total distraction with every burning hit. She tried to
move quickly.
There
was now an apple and another cherry on the board to bring down.
Amy
noticed that when she got groups of four candy they exploded and a stripe one
appeared on the board and that when she got groups of five candy they exploded
and a candy covered chocolate ball appeared on the board: just like her initial
task in the vertical tunnel. Then she managed to strike a green stripey candy
with a candy covered chocolate ball together. The whole board seemed to explode
in all angles and both the cherries managed to come down to the bottom and
leave the board. The second apple appeared at the top of the board. She now had
ten moves to go.
Amy
was getting a little nervous, as she did not want to lose another life. Her
next move involved striking two stripey candies together and this bought down
one of the apples. The other apple was three squares from the bottom.
Did Amy bring the second apple down to the
bottom and off the board?

1. “Yes,
I got it,” exclaimed Amy with great excitement.
Before
Amy could think any further an opening appeared on the floor directly below her
and she found herself sliding down a huge enclosed slide, which seemed to go on
forever. This slide was dark to begin with and then became more and more
illuminated by bright rays of colourful light beaming across the walls.
Eventually she came out of an opening into a space filled with hundreds of
colourful candies all playfully dancing about, doing somersaults, telling
jokes, playing petanque, making sandcastles, having civilised cups of fruity
fizzy, watching Shortbread Street on telly and so on. There was a HUGE
hedge-like structure in front of her. She just stood in one place and glared at
it with wide questionable eyes and was thinking, “What next?”
